Anna Dello Russo
Vogue Nippon (Japan) fashion director Anna Dello Russo has been seen on many street style blog thanks to her extravagant ensembles and unambiguous love of fashion. Now, she is sharing her personal brand of opulence with the world with her new fragrance that has been quoted as “part cult accessory, part enchanting fragrance, part decadent indulgence—like freshly baked cookies on Christmas day.” According to Anna Dello Russo, it is a sweet mash-up of vanilla and almond that calls to mind the childhood memory of warm cookies coming from the kitchen. Sounds just delicious.
What strikes me more is not in the bottle, but it is the bottle. The perfume comes in an ornate gold stiletto-shaped bottle. Looks fierce enough, but it comes with a warning sign, “This object isn’t a traditional perfume bottle and must be handled with extreme care for it is extremely fragile. It could easily break into sharp fragments. Keep out of reach of children.” Available on Yoox.com

I’m all for Chanel’s super comfy platforms with cut out wedge too. How convenient to look tall yet in comfy shoes… Girl can only dream right?
I just recently heard about footwear designer, Kobi Levi. He’s designs are always in the realm of fantasy with such a fun elements. Sometime provocative, but it’s kind of refreshing to see designs that’s not usual and purely conceptual.
Kobi Levi graduated from Bezalel academy of art & design, Jerusalem 2001 and specializes in footwear design and development/making.
Now, these are some sassy shoes. These are some of the shoes from Christian Siriano’s Spring 2011 collection in New York Fashion Week (NYFW).
They remind me of Alexander McQueen’s drama mixed with Vivienne Westwood’s eccentricity. I wonder how it will look when it’s streamed down to us. I guess I need to wait and find out!
