“For my Creative Processes class I designed and made this paper dress purely out of phonebook paper! I pleated, stuck, sewed, and glued everything by hand.” says Jolis on her Flickr page.

Get lost in Elie Saab’s ever so chic drape. Elie Saab’s collection reminded me of Joan of Arc with such powerful colors and silhouette mixed with feminine drape. Emphasis on shoulder silhouette definitely adds some dominant characteristic to these soft draped gowns.
Chanel’s eclectic couture collection showcased delicious novelty pieces. Just look at those chunky bracelets!
Givenchy’s all about ornaments in this couture collection. Tisci expressed the cult of couture of conspicuous consumption through massive ornamentation and embellishments. Most of his pieces were heavily beaded and decorated with ostrich feathers.
