Fegore Fashion Fall 2011 Trend: Rachel Zoe’s First Collection





Super star stylist, Rachel Zoe, is not the one to be slowed down by pregnancy. She showed her first, Rachel Zoe Collection this Fall 2011 season. This collection is different from her small affordable collection for QVC. The Rachel Zoe Collection will be a contemporary line with prices ranges from $250 day dress up to $700 for a full look.

Rachel Zoe says, “I’d imagine everybody is expecting something from me that’s kind of a Seventies, uberboho-glam kind of thing, and, you know, very accessorized. And it’s not.”

Li & Fung, one of the powerhouse for mass market manufacture will be partnered with Rachel Zoe. Rachel Zoe says she envisions the collection on the racks next to Alexander Wang, DVF, and Marc by Marc Jacobs.

I’m never sure when non-designer makes debut as a designer. So far, I’m not too impressed with her collection, but she may have more tricks under her sleeve.

Fegore News: Rihanna’s New Fragrance

Rihanna’s new frangrance is called Reb’l Fleur with a toxic appearance of booze bottle. She named her perfume  after a childhood nickname her grandmother gave her (and is also her 14th tattoo).

Reb’l Fleur smells like Hawaiian hibiscus flower, violet, tuberose, coconut water, vanilla, patchouli, amber, and musk. “Rihanna is said to have wanted a fragrance that reflects her Barbados heritage and New York and L.A. lifestyles—”like high heels with a short, flirty dress.”"

The perfume will widely be available starting January 25 and will retail for $49 for the 1.6 oz., $59 for the 3.4 oz., and $30 for the 6.7 oz. body lotion. Since I’m also mix of New York and L.A., maybe I will like this too?

Fegore Moment: Fegore Dress Worn by Ai Kago at Jazz Live NYC

Not sure if any of our readers know, but both Juri and I both come from fashion world. Though we do all sorts of design, we manage few garments time to time. Ai Kago, famous Japanese celebrity/singer (formerly from group called “Morning Musume”) wore our one shoulder gold dress to her Jazz Live NYC event.

This event happened awhile ago, back in September 11th – just didn’t get chance to upload it till now! We hope you all like it!

Fegore News: Christian Siriano for Payless, S/S 2011

Now, these are some sassy shoes. These are some of the shoes from Christian Siriano’s Spring 2011 collection in New York Fashion Week (NYFW).

They remind me of Alexander McQueen’s drama mixed with Vivienne Westwood’s eccentricity. I wonder how it will look when it’s streamed down to us. I guess I need to wait and find out!

Fegore Love or Hate?: Two Tone Head

There seems to be a new trend happening within celeb world. Not sure if it’s done on purpose or just plain lack of care. I think light variation like on Sarah Jessica Parker looks pretty good, but when it’s so extreme difference, your hair begin to look little scary, no? Call me conservative, but I think one tone is definitely a way to go, unless you go subtle!

(Horrible picture of Drew Barrymore by the way… I think she’s usually very beautiful, except in this picture.)
